We’re excited! Sure, we’re excited a lot around here because we love what we do, but this time we have a specific reason: Susan Santone will be continuing that work through a forthcoming book.
Reframing Curriculum
The publication, Reframing the Curriculum: Design for Social Justice and Sustainability, will be published in 2018 through a partnership between the world’s leading academic publisher of humanities and social sciences, Routledge, and the International Honors Society in Education, Kappa Delta Pi.
The book is designed as a practical, hands-on guide that introduces teachers in all grades and disciplines to the concepts of sustainability. It will provide step-by-step instructions, showing readers how to reframe the curriculum to meet their classroom goals as well as required standards.
Engaging Content, Theoretical Foundations and Real-World Experience
The work brings together over 15 years of methods and content developed through Creative Change’s work with schools and universities. Lest this sound a little too heavy or academic as a read, Susan’s experience with teaching as well as academic publishing provides readers with accessible content based on solid theoretical foundation.
