OUR TEAM

Susan Santone

Founder and Executive Director

A former classroom teacher, she specializes in interdisciplinary curriculum design, educational policy, and teacher education. She is also an adjunct instructor in Teacher Education at Eastern Michigan University. She earned teacher certificates in social studies, music, and TESOL; and a Master’s degree in Intercultural and International Management from the SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Lisa Babe

Lisa Babe

Lisa is a former ESL and secondary science teacher with a strong understanding of environmental and social justice issues. Prior to working at Creative Change, Lisa was an adjunct instructor at Alpena Community College, and served as the educational coordinator for the NOAA Paleoclimatology Program in Boulder, CO. She has a Master’s degree in Secondary Science with an emphasis in ESL from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Kim is an experienced middle school science and English teacher, with expertise in online professional development for teachers, and interdisciplinary curriculum development. She earned her elementary teaching certificate at Western Michigan University with endorsements in Science, English, and early childhood. She has a Master’s degree in Social Foundations of Education from Eastern Michigan University.
